- A gas grill. We have a balcony here, unheard of in New York, and our building allows gas grills so we need to get one now that it's getting warm out! I like this one, not too big or expensive, perfect for our little outdoor space.
- An ice cream maker. I really need to get off this ice cream kick, but on a segment on the Early Show this morning they were showcasing new kitchen gadgets from the International Housewares Show and I love this little Hamilton Beach Half Pint ice cream maker. It's only $30 and hardly takes up any room in the kitchen. It doesn't come out until May, though.
- A book about Paris patisseries. I didn't realize that I should start studying up before my trip in December, until CakeSpy wrote about her recent trip there and said Paris Sweets by Dorie Greenspan is a must read. One of the reviews says there's no pictures in it (gasp!), but if it's recommended by CakeSpy....
- A Certificate in Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts. I totally need this! It's only $20,000...much cheaper than the $35,000 Associate program.
Ok, time to go enjoy the sunny weather.
